Marina Bay Sands SkyPark
Singapore
Sights and Highlights
With an incredible 12,400 square meters of space, the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark can host nearly 4,000 people at any one time, and it also boasts a palm-lined outdoor infinity swimming pool. As the largest pool (150 metres) in the world of that height, it is a pretty awesome place to have a swim in! Access however is limited to hotel guests only. To get at least a glimpse, visitors can opt to have lunch or drinks at the nearby KU DÉ TA, which is a trendy spot for for food and drink (cocktails the speciality) with a view.
The gravity-defying cantilever is one of the largest in the world, sitting higher than even the London Eye! The observation deck offers breathtaking panoramic views, making it a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. Sights that are visible from this height include the CBD, the Singapore River, the Esplande, the Gardens by the Bay and the surrounding islands such as Sentosa.
Access to the SkyPark Observation Deck is from the main hotel lobby of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Follow the signs leading to the ticket booth. From 1st January 2014, tickets are priced at SGD 23 for adults, SGD 20 for senior citizens and SGD 17 for children aged two to 12. You can also head to one of the restaurants to enjoy the view if you prefer to combine your visit with a drink or a meal.
Please check the website of the SkyPark for occasional closures of the Observation Deck due to functions and events and take into account that the deck will be closed in case of a storm. Call +65 6688 8826 for information.
